Prime-S(Antimicrobial Central Venous Catheter)

Prime-S Catheter is based on an ion exchange technology. It shows active release of Silver ions from the catheter surfaces.

Zeolite crystals containing silver ions are randomly oriented and distributed through the surface of the polymer.

Prime-s catheter is a silver compounded polymer matrix with safety and affectivity.
It release silver ions from the catheter surfaces through the life and not affected by abrasion of the surface.
The natures extremely safe silver is a powerful antimicrobial metal ion.
It is effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as a wide array of fungal organisms.

Long lasting of Antimicrobial Efficacy

The silver ion attacks multiple targets in the microbe to prevent it from growing to a destructive population.
It inhibit transport functions (respiration) in the cell wall, they inhibit cell division (reproduction) and they interrupt cell energy generation but not effect on normal cells.
